Email lists on oz-Teachernet

oz-Teachernet hosts a number of email lists for educators. While some of these lists are very active on a daily basis, others are used specifically for projects and their use is more sporadic. The oz-Teachernet has also hosted lists for other non-profit groups.

The first oz-Teachernet list started in 1995 and was called oz-teachers. This list has grown since then and there is an enormous amount of history in its archives.

The main public lists that are available to educators include:

oz-teachers
oz-teachers, the most popular (and oldest) list has members ranging from undergraduate education students, teachers from Australian and international schools, tertiary educators and other professionals in the education field. This list has approximately 1000 members and is a free service aimed at supporting educators.

To join this list please visit the subscription page for oz-teachers . The archives for this list are located at the oz-teachers archive page

Travel Buddies
Another very popular list hosted by oz-Teachernet is the travel buddies list where educators can arrange a travel buddy between different schools. You can subscribe to this list at the travel buddy subscription page and view the archives at the travel buddy archive page.

ICT Research
The ICT research email list is specifically set up for those involved in ICT research. It was set up in 2007 out of a need identified in a number of forums for researcher to communicate about various research initiatives and projects. You can subscribe to the list at the ICT Research subscription page and view the archives at the ICT research archive page.

If you feel there is a need for other lists to support your project or education related activities please let us know by contacting info@oz-teachernet.edu.au.
