Dr Margaret Lloyd Margaret has worked as a teacher of secondary Art, History, Graphic Communication and Computer Studies in Queensland and Victoria from 1973-1995 interspersed by periods of travel, alternate employment and family leave. She began working at QUT in 1996 as a sessional academic and research assistant obtaining a tenured position in 2001. She lectures in both post- and under- graduate programs focusing on senior secondary computing curriculum. She is currently supervising higher degree students in ICT and related fields. Apart from overall management responsibilities, Margaret manages the oz-teachers professional discussion list and has worked on the Deadly Maths site with ASSISTM partners. |

Dr Jennifer Masters Jenny worked as an Early Childhood and Primary teacher in Western Australia and Queensland. In 1992 she began working as a casual academic and a research assistant for QUT. She was appointed as a Primary ICT lecturer in 1996 and has taught in early childhood and primary courses for graduates and undergraduates. She was appointed as a course coordinator in 2000 with responsibility for the Primary and Middle Years graduate entry programs and the Primary double degree courses for over 500 students. In 2007, she took up a senior lectureship and course coordination role at Latrobe University (Bendigo). Apart from overall management responsibilities, Jenny manages the Travel Buddies project. |

Shaun Nykvist Shaun graduated with the teaching areas of Mathematics and Home Economics and his first teaching position was in Tambo in rural Queensland. He began lecturing at QUT in 1999 and is responsible for the ICT pathways units for students who specialise in ICT electives as well as an offshore degree program in Malaysia. Shaun's teaching excellence was recently acknowledged with a University $10,000 outstanding contribution award. He has submitted his PhD thesis - Arguing online: Expectations and realities of building knowledge in a blended learning environment. Apart from overall management responsibilities, Shaun is responsible for the technical operations of the oz-Teachernet. He has directed, through a small team including James Iseppi, the redevelopment of this site using open source software and principles. Shaun also designed the SSLIDE site as part of an ASSISTM grant. |
